All Services

Every Service We Offer, Grouped by the Problem You Are Solving

Complete Service Directory

Everything we do, in one place. The site splits our work across four sections — heating, air conditioning, air quality and controls, and water systems — which is fine once you know where to look and unhelpful when you do not. This is the directory: every service, grouped by the problem you are trying to solve.

If you already know what you need, the headings below will get you there. If you do not, the symptom table matches the problem to the right page.

No heat or no cooling right now? Go straight to emergency heating repair or emergency AC repair, or call (206) 900-9231.

Heat pumps and air conditioning

Most houses here were built for heating only, so adding cooling is usually where distribution problems surface.

Heat pump installationReplaces the furnace and adds cooling in one system, and carries the utility rebates.
Ductless heat pumpsFor homes with no ductwork, or one stubborn room. One head per zone.
AC replacementCooling on its own, where the furnace is newer and staying.
Air to water heat pumpsHow you electrify a house that runs on radiators or in-floor loops.
GeothermalGround source. Needs real lot area for the loop field, so an acreage question.
Duct and distributionWorth pricing alongside any new system if rooms never balanced before.

Heating

If your furnace is original to the house, get the replacement number alongside any repair quote so you can compare them properly.

Furnace servicesRepair, replacement and service on gas and electric furnaces.
Heating overviewStart here if you are not sure what kind of system you have.
Heater installationNew and replacement installs, including the sizing that most quotes skip.
Boilers and hydronicsService, repair and replacement. Each zone gets its own loop.
Radiant heatIn-floor and hydronic systems, common in custom builds.
Thermostat installationSmart and zoned controls. Best done with the equipment, not after.

Hot water

Tank, tankless or heat pump. The right answer depends on space, fuel and whether a rebate is in play.

Water heatersTank systems, and the starting point for comparing all three options.
Heat pump water heatersThe efficient option, usually rebate eligible. Not a straight swap for gas.
Tankless installationEndless hot water, smaller footprint. Gas supply and venting are the constraints.
Tankless repairError codes, inconsistent hot water, or a unit due for descaling.

Air quality and airflow

The group people skip, and the one that most often explains a house with decent equipment that still feels wrong.

Duct and distribution systemsIf one room never keeps up, this is the cause far more often than equipment size.
Indoor air qualityFiltration, ventilation and humidity as one system rather than three gadgets.
Air filtrationBetter than a basic filter, which matters in wildfire smoke season.
VentilationBringing in fresh air deliberately. A code requirement on much new work.
HumidifiersWhole-home humidity, for houses that run dry on forced air in winter.
Thermostat repairWorth ruling out first. A lot of no-heat calls end here.

Maintenance and new build

The cheapest way to find the failure that would otherwise happen on the coldest night of the year.

Furnace maintenanceAnnual service on gas and electric furnaces.
Heater maintenanceAcross heating equipment generally, heat pumps included.
New constructionDesign and install on new builds and major remodels.

Repairs and emergencies

No heat in January and no cooling in a July heatwave are the two calls where timing matters most.

Emergency heating repairNo heat, a system that will not stay running, or a smell you should not leave.
Emergency AC repairCooling failure in hot weather, which arrives here in short sharp spells.
Heater repairDiagnosis and repair when it is not an emergency.
AC repairWeak cooling, short cycling, ice on the coil.
Mini split repairOne head down while the others work is rarely a whole-system fault.

Not sure which one you need?

Match the symptom rather than the equipment. These are the patterns we see most.

One room is always cold or hot Almost never equipment size. Start with duct and distribution, or ductless where there is no practical way to run duct.
The whole house struggles on cold days Capacity, controls or airflow. Heater repair to diagnose, then installation if it is genuinely undersized or finished.
No cooling, and the house was built without it A choice between adding air conditioning and going to a heat pump, which replaces the heating too and attracts the rebates.
Equipment is 15 to 25 years old and something failed Get both numbers in one visit. On a unit that age a single fault is usually a symptom rather than the problem.
Hot water runs out, or the tank is old Water heaters for the comparison, and heat pump water heaters if running cost and rebates matter.
The air feels stale, dusty or smoky Indoor air quality first, which points you at filtration or ventilation depending on the cause.
You want the lowest running cost A heat pump on the heating side and a heat pump water heater on the hot water side, checked against what your utility will actually pay.

Rebates change the maths

Before you settle on equipment it is worth knowing what your address qualifies for. The answer depends on your electric utility, what you heat with today and your household income rather than on the equipment alone, and the same job can carry a very different rebate on two sides of a county line.

Our heat pump rebates page sets out every program side by side, including the conditions that disqualify people most often.

Where we work

Each city page covers the local permit authority, the rebate program that applies there and the housing patterns we see most.

All of it

Every service area, with the full list and what changes between them.

Not sure which page you need? Describe the problem instead. Tell us what the house is doing, how old the equipment is and your address, and we will tell you which of the above it actually is.

Call (206) 900-9231 or request an estimate.

Prefer to browse by section? HVAC services covers heating, cooling and air, and boiler systems covers hydronics and water heating. This directory is the superset of both.
