All Services
Every Service We Offer, Grouped by the Problem You Are Solving
Complete Service Directory
Everything we do, in one place. The site splits our work across four sections — heating, air conditioning, air quality and controls, and water systems — which is fine once you know where to look and unhelpful when you do not. This is the directory: every service, grouped by the problem you are trying to solve.
If you already know what you need, the headings below will get you there. If you do not, the symptom table matches the problem to the right page.
- Heat pumps & cooling
- Heating
- Hot water
- Air quality & airflow
- Maintenance & new build
- Repairs & emergencies

Heat pumps and air conditioning
Most houses here were built for heating only, so adding cooling is usually where distribution problems surface.
Heating
If your furnace is original to the house, get the replacement number alongside any repair quote so you can compare them properly.
Hot water
Tank, tankless or heat pump. The right answer depends on space, fuel and whether a rebate is in play.
Air quality and airflow
The group people skip, and the one that most often explains a house with decent equipment that still feels wrong.
Maintenance and new build
The cheapest way to find the failure that would otherwise happen on the coldest night of the year.
Repairs and emergencies
No heat in January and no cooling in a July heatwave are the two calls where timing matters most.
Not sure which one you need?
Match the symptom rather than the equipment. These are the patterns we see most.
| One room is always cold or hot | Almost never equipment size. Start with duct and distribution, or ductless where there is no practical way to run duct. |
|---|---|
| The whole house struggles on cold days | Capacity, controls or airflow. Heater repair to diagnose, then installation if it is genuinely undersized or finished. |
| No cooling, and the house was built without it | A choice between adding air conditioning and going to a heat pump, which replaces the heating too and attracts the rebates. |
| Equipment is 15 to 25 years old and something failed | Get both numbers in one visit. On a unit that age a single fault is usually a symptom rather than the problem. |
| Hot water runs out, or the tank is old | Water heaters for the comparison, and heat pump water heaters if running cost and rebates matter. |
| The air feels stale, dusty or smoky | Indoor air quality first, which points you at filtration or ventilation depending on the cause. |
| You want the lowest running cost | A heat pump on the heating side and a heat pump water heater on the hot water side, checked against what your utility will actually pay. |
Rebates change the maths
Before you settle on equipment it is worth knowing what your address qualifies for. The answer depends on your electric utility, what you heat with today and your household income rather than on the equipment alone, and the same job can carry a very different rebate on two sides of a county line.
Our heat pump rebates page sets out every program side by side, including the conditions that disqualify people most often.
Where we work
Each city page covers the local permit authority, the rebate program that applies there and the housing patterns we see most.

All of it
Every service area, with the full list and what changes between them.
Not sure which page you need? Describe the problem instead. Tell us what the house is doing, how old the equipment is and your address, and we will tell you which of the above it actually is.

Prefer to browse by section? HVAC services covers heating, cooling and air, and boiler systems covers hydronics and water heating. This directory is the superset of both.
